Forgiveness That Frees the Soul
“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25, KJV)
Reflection
Jesus links forgiveness directly to prayer, revealing that unresolved offense creates spiritual resistance. Forgiveness is not agreement with wrongdoing, nor is it denial of pain. It is a decision to release another person from a debt we believe they owe us. Leaders often carry quiet resentment that clouds judgment, weakens discernment, and drains peace. Leadership shaped by His words understands that forgiveness is an act of obedience before it becomes an emotional experience. When leaders forgive from the heart, they remove internal barriers that hinder communion with God and restore spiritual freedom that allows prayer, leadership, and faith to flow clearly.
Implementation Tip
Christian entrepreneurs and ministry leaders should intentionally examine whether unresolved offense has quietly taken root in their hearts over time. Identify one person, situation, or memory where forgiveness has been delayed, justified, or avoided
